The Tom Crean Business Centre, established two years ago, is a business incubator in the Kerry Technology Park and currently hosts seventeen companies in its centre. The centre focuses on accelerating the development of technology based start-ups in the region.

Ms. June O’ Connell of William Fry & Co. will deliver a talk in Innovation Works on Friday, March 2nd @ 12.45pm on core legal requirements for business ventures.

She will issue attendees with a pack of legal template documents as part of the presentation. These will range from sample Contracts of Employment to Non-disclosure Agreements. Ms O’ Connell will also look at current and emerging trends in investing and buyouts.

She will end her talk with a questions and answers session.

On the 2nd of March 2007, June O’ Connell of William Fry & Co. delivered a talk in Innovation Works in the Kerry Technology Park.

Those present included representatives of companies from the Tom Crean Business Centre and the Shannon Developments Innovation Works.

Ms. O’ Connell focused particularly on key legal issues for startups.. She stressed the importance of a Shareholder Agreements – a document which is often overlooked by new companies.

Attendees were presented with a set of legal templates. The talk finished with a questions and answers session.
