Applicant Entry Criteria

Prospective clients will be expected to demonstrate the following:

  • A high level of innovation in product, process development or service.
  • Ability to generate quality, sustainable employment and income in the region.
  • Focus on Information and Communications Technology (ICT), Biotech and Emerging Technologies.
  • Links with IT Tralee such as R&D, Student Placement or Graduate Employment
  • Synergy with local and regional Business and Technology Centres

The selection process will be proofed against gender and equality considerations.

The Tom Crean Business Centre is interested in engaging with any business or person when and where it can make a difference.  If you think we can help, please give us a call.

The application process:

  • Applicants will submit a completed application for initial review. The applicant may also submit a business plan if available at this time.
  • If the initial application is successful the applicants will be invited to meet with the centre manager to discuss entry to the centre. This will be contingent upon a further review of the business plan, identification of development milestones and agreement on the incubation period.
  • The Tom Crean Business Centre endeavours to complete this process within a two week timeframe.
  • The centre has a minimum stay period of three months and a maximum period of three years.
